I’m wondering who all on here participates in CafeMom? I do and I like the fact that for personal questions about pregnancy or children, your questions are being answered by other mommies, not men or little kids who have no idea what they are talking about and just answer to earn points! (Not taking credit away from all men, because some of them are knowlegable) But I’m talking about personal questions that only other mommies who have been there and done that can give honest answers to! Sooo, who all is on CafeMom besides me?
CafeMom is a good mix between MySpace and Yahoo Answers. You can have friends and comments and post pictures and such. There are posts that you can answer for other people and post questions to for others to answer. But you don’t earn points or anything. It’s just a way to relate with other moms.
I’m pretty bored with myspace, too!

help!! I have not been able to log into cafemom for about 3 days now…. keeps giving me the http 403 page… how do i fix this…

They wont let guys on there OR make a cafe dad….Personally i think it’s sexist because i know a lot of guys doin the single dad thing an dneed a networking place like cafemom to help out……they should make a cafeparents

Like if it was a mothers group, they did not allow fathers to participate, or if it was a fathers group they did not allow mothers to participate.

I know about meetup.com and cafemom.com but I am hoping some of you may know of another one out there where you can search for other mommies in the area.

I should clarify that I do not have an infant- our son is 3 years old and I am looking to meet some folks for playdates.

I live in Chester Pa/19013 and everyone is in Philly or Jersey – no one wants to travel to get where I am. And really, my car is horrible so I don’t want to have to travel far either. I tried CL, but most people there don’t have kids, or are like 30 or 40. CafeMom is great, but no moms live near me or are my age. What to do?
