How can I find moms my age (21-26) in my area? I’ve tried Craigslist and CafeMom?
I live in Chester Pa/19013 and everyone is in Philly or Jersey – no one wants to travel to get where I am. And really, my car is horrible so I don’t want to have to travel far either. I tried CL, but most people there don’t have kids, or are like 30 or 40. CafeMom is great, but no moms live near me or are my age. What to do?

Check out Yahoo Groups, Meetup.com, justbreathemom.com, matchingmoms, and raisinthem are all good ones to try. Here’s an article about them. Good luck. In the end, if you can’t find one that fits right, start your own on yahoo. It’s simple and free. I did it and have run my own for 4 yrs now and have made wonderful friends through it. You can email me if you want more info.

i am sure i am not help, but how do u find moms on craiglist? you can try going to places around your area like baby gymboery or swimming lessons or something
As Brayden’s Mommy mentioned, have you considered checking out local places that kids/parents would visit? Like Gymboree, Swimming Pools, Play Grounds, Parks, Rec. Centers, that sort of thing? In my experience I had the most luck at the Play Ground and Rec. Centers. I found they were usually early in the morning in my area (around 9am – 11am). You could usually spot them out in a crowd as in the park they would all sit together while their kids played.
If you still have no luck why not ask one of the moms at one of these places who have children similar to your kids age and are closer to your age? They might have had some luck with this and may know of a place or two you could check out or go to meet other people in your situation. Best of luck =)
See if your local library has free children’s reading days- that is usually a good place to meet moms because many of them are regulars. You can also check your local newspaper or city website- they usually post free activities for parents and children.
Try the library and see if they have those things were they read stories to the kids. thats how i met moms my age
